Life Enrichment Coordinator – Make a Meaningful Difference!
Location: Ethan Allen Residence – Burlington, VT
Schedule: Part-time, 24 hours per week. This position includes Saturday and Sunday shifts, plus one weekday shift.
Are you passionate about bringing joy, connection, and purpose to others? Ethan Allen Residence is looking for a Life Enrichment Coordinator to join our warm, supportive team in our 39-bed assisted living community.
In this role, you'll have the opportunity to create engaging, meaningful experiences for residents with a wide range of cognitive abilities. From music and crafts to games and storytelling, your creativity and compassion will directly improve the quality of life for those we serve.
What You'll Do:
- Plan, organize, and lead a variety of activities tailored to residents’ interests and abilities
- Adapt programming to meet the diverse needs of individuals, including those with dementia
- Collaborate with our dedicated activities team to develop monthly calendars and special events
- Build relationships with residents and help foster a vibrant, inclusive community
What We're Looking For:
- Experience working with older adults and/or individuals with dementia is strongly preferred.
- Strong communication skills—both written and verbal.
- Ability to work independently with creativity, flexibility, and patience.
- A positive attitude and a genuine desire to make a difference.
