What are the responsibilities and job description for the Infant/Toddler Teacher's Aide position at Living Way Day Care Center?
Living Way Day Care Center is a well-established Christian preschool in northeast Pasadena and has served the children of this community for 38 years.
We have two Infant/Toddler Teacher's Assistant positions available - one part time and one full time.
A qualified Teacher's Aide should have a minimum 6 months experience working with babies and toddlers in a preschool setting. Early Childhood college classes for the Aide positions are not required, but preferred. This position involves working with a team of other caregivers, so excellent communication skills and the ability to be a team player are extremely important.
We are looking for candidates who are:
- Friendly and outgoing - must love babies and toddlers!
- Self-starters; can see what needs to be done and can do it without being asked
- Able to share the love of Jesus with the children and staff
- Have a positive attitude and can meet challenges with creativity, tact and compassion
- Know how to plan activities and engage with babies and toddlers to meet the ever-changing needs of this age group
- Be available to work 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday through Friday
- Qualified applicants must have a security clearance through Community Care Licensing
