Duties
- Supervise and coordinate daily operations of irrigation installation crew.
- Plan and execute irrigation system layouts, ensuring proper placement and functionality for diverse landscape projects
- Operate and manage hand tools, power tools, excavators, and other construction equipment safely and effectively
- Inspect completed work to ensure compliance with specifications, safety standards, and quality expectations
- Troubleshoot system issues promptly, diagnosing mechanical or electrical problems within irrigation components
- Maintain detailed records of project progress, materials used, and service logs for accountability and reporting
Skills
- Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot and repair irrigation systems and related equipment
- Proficiency in operating hand tools, power tools, excavators, and other construction machinery
- Familiarity with irrigation system components such as valves, controllers, emitters, pipes, and fittings
- Ability to read blueprints, technical diagrams, and landscape plans accurately
- Excellent leadership skills to manage teams efficiently while maintaining safety standards
