What are the responsibilities and job description for the Maintenance Technician position at Living Water Fellowship Church?
Facility Maintenance
· Perform general maintenance and minor repairs throughout the building
· Replace and install light fixtures, bulbs, and basic electrical components
· Address minor plumbing issues (leaks, clogs, etc.)
· Monitor HVAC systems and report any concerns
· Conduct routine walkthroughs to identify maintenance needs
Cleaning & Building Upkeep
· Maintain cleanliness of:
o Sanctuary
o Restrooms
o Offices
o Classrooms and common areas
· Sweep, mop, vacuum, and sanitize designated spaces
· Restock restroom and facility supplies
· Ensure building is prepared for midweek and weekend services
Grounds Maintenance
· Maintain exterior grounds, including:
o Lawn care (mowing, edging, trimming as needed)
o Trash removal and property cleanliness
o Walkways and parking lot upkeep
· Assist with seasonal maintenance (leaves, snow/ice as needed)
Event & Ministry Support
· Set up and reset rooms for services, meetings, and events
· Assist ministries with tables, chairs, and basic equipment needs
· Ensure spaces are cleaned and restored after use
Safety & Security
· Identify and report safety hazards or repair needs
· Ensure doors, spaces, and equipment are secured at the end of shift (as assigned)
· Follow all safety protocols when using tools and equipment
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $17.00 - $20.00 per hour
