Job Description Summary

The Warehouse Supervisor is responsible for overseeing a wide variety of distribution center activities including Inbound, Outbound, Returns, Service, Transfers, Maintenance, and Quality.

Job Description

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

• Lead the team to ensure that all key performance metrics are achieved including units processed per hour, monitoring the daily workflow and distributing work among the team members
• Interface with a multi-shift operation and physically frequent all areas of offices and warehouse
• Learn and develop fundamentals of supervision and leadership at Living Spaces
• Learn and understand the technical applications of the job and be able to train new hires accordingly on these applications
• Coaching and mentoring the team to ensure they meet their goals
• Communicate with upper management and offer suggestions to achieve goals and overcome obstacles
• Operate on tight deadlines with multiple priorities subject to frequent changes
• Execute company initiatives and strategies to uphold our standard of warehouse and delivery excellence

Qualifications

Experience: Plumbing, Forklift PM, Welding and Electrical

Education/Experience: High School Diploma or GED equivalent. 1-2 years of experience in a fast paced, warehouse environment. Equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $23.00 - $32.00 per hour
