We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Concrete Laborer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in various aspects of concrete work, including forming, installation, and finishing. The Concrete Laborer will play a crucial role in ensuring that all concrete structures are built to specifications and meet quality standards.
Duties
- Assist in the preparation and pouring of concrete for various projects, including foundations, sidewalks, and driveways.
- Perform concrete forming tasks to create molds for pouring concrete.
- Utilize hand tools and equipment effectively for mixing, pouring, and finishing concrete.
- Read and interpret blueprints and schematics to understand project requirements.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of projects while adhering to safety standards.
- Execute caulking tasks as needed for sealing joints and gaps in concrete structures.
- Support trim carpentry efforts related to concrete installations.
- Work with stucco applications as part of finishing processes on certain projects.
Requirements
- Proven experience in concrete forming and installation is preferred.
- Familiarity with reading blueprints and schematics.
- Proficient in using hand tools relevant to construction and concrete work.
- Knowledge of caulking techniques for effective sealing.
- Experience with trim carpentry is a plus.
- Ability to work well in a team environment while maintaining focus on individual tasks.
