Job Coach – Mashpee

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $20.00 – 20.50 per hour

Schedule: Part-Time | MONDAY–Saturday

As a Job Coach, you will provide hands-on support, encouragement, and training that empowers individuals to develop workplace skills, build confidence, and become more independent. What You’ll Do

As a Job Coach, you will:

  • Provide individualized job coaching and support at employment and volunteer sites.
  • Teach and reinforce workplace skills, routines, and professional behaviors.
  • Assist individuals with learning job responsibilities and achieving employment goals.
  • Build positive relationships with individuals, employers, coworkers, and community partners.
  • Advocate for individuals while promoting independence and self-confidence.
  • Conduct routine employment site visits and weekly follow-up checks.
  • Address workplace concerns and help resolve issues in a positive and supportive manner.
  • Develop creative support strategies and tools to help individuals succeed on the job.
  • Transport individuals to and from employment sites as needed using your personal vehicle (mileage reimbursed).
  • Complete daily documentation and maintain accurate, quality case notes in I-Centrix.
  • Effectively manage and respond to LIFE email communications.
  • Participate in Employment Services team meetings and required trainings.
  • Provide verbal intervention and support during behavioral situations when necessary.
  • Maintain participant work schedules and employment records as assigned.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by supervisors or directors.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience supporting individuals with intellectual or developmental disabilities, autism, or other vulnerable populations.
  • High School Diploma required; related college coursework preferred.
  • Basic computer skills, including email and electronic documentation.
  • Ability to adapt to various workplace environments while supporting individuals on-site.

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
  • Ability to sit as needed for documentation and meetings.
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 25 pounds.
  • Ability to travel throughout the community and provide support in a variety of work settings.

Additional Requirements

Candidates must successfully complete all LIFE pre-employment requirements, including:

  • Professional reference checks
  • Criminal Offender Record Information (CORI) check
  • Disabled Persons Protection Commission (DPPC) check
  • DDS Fingerprint-Based Criminal Background Check
  • Acceptable motor vehicle driving history meeting LIFE insurance requirements
  • Completion of all required online and in-person training programs
