What are the responsibilities and job description for the Clinical Social Worker/ Psychotherapist position at Living in the PAUSE Counseling & Consulting?
Living in the PAUSE (LTP) is a growing, trauma-informed behavioral health/ outpatient practice founded and led by co-owners Laura Macias and Kasie White, who bring more than 40 years of combined clinical and social work experience.
LTP is committed to developing a practice that learns from the work we do. Clinicians may contribute to the collection and evaluation of clinical outcomes, identification of effective practices, and translation of practice-based knowledge into education, training, and improved clinical services.
LTP is committed to providing compassionate, clinically sound, and individualized behavioral health services that support the whole person—mind, body, and spirit. Our practice serves children, adolescents, and adults and is grounded in the belief that meaningful therapeutic work requires connection, authenticity, and the willingness to PAUSE: Learning to Practice the PAUSE together.
As LTP continues to grow, we are expanding our clinical presence beyond Michigan and developing services in San Antonio, Texas. This expansion represents an opportunity to build upon the clinical foundation established in Michigan while developing a strong, locally responsive presence in the San Antonio community and the State of Texas via Telehealth.
We are seeking Clinical Social Workers: LMSW-C or LLMSW-C {MI} & LCSW or LMSW “under Supervision” {TX} who are passionate about behavioral health, trauma-informed practice, and helping clients create meaningful and sustainable change.
This is an opportunity to join a growing practice where clinicians are supported as professionals, encouraged to develop their clinical strengths, and invited to contribute to the continued growth and evolution of LTP.
Why Living in the PAUSE?
At LTP, we believe clinicians deserve a workplace where they can practice clinically, grow professionally, and remain authentically themselves.
Our goal is to create a collaborative clinical environment where therapists are supported rather than isolated, encouraged to develop their areas of expertise, and given opportunities to contribute to the direction of the practice.
As we expand into San Antonio, Texas, we are intentionally building a clinical team that reflects the needs of the communities we serve while maintaining the core values and trauma-informed foundation of Living in the PAUSE.
- If you are ready to grow with a practice that values clinical excellence, authenticity, collaboration, and meaningful change, we invite you to join us in Living in the PAUSE.
