Position Types:
Lead Teacher (Non-exempt)
Infant/Toddler Assistant Teacher
Schedule:
Hours of operation for teachers fall between 6:15/6:30 a.m. and 5:30 p.m., Monday–Friday. Specific schedules will be assigned within this window.
What You Will Do – Lead Teacher
Take primary responsibility for the academic and social-emotional growth and development of children in your care (ages 6 weeks through preschool).
Develop and implement both long- and short-range classroom activities in alignment with licensing standards, curriculum objectives, developmentally appropriate practices, and program philosophy.
Build strong partnerships with parents, co-workers, and administration to ensure consistency in daily classroom activities and communication.
Assure compliance with CDC standards and state licensing regulations.
Maintain ongoing open communication with families through newsletters, mobile apps, and in-person conversations.
What You Will Do – Assistant Teacher
Follow and support the Lead Teacher’s direction in all aspects of classroom activities.
Assist with the academic and social-emotional growth of the children within your care.
Help maintain a safe, nurturing, and engaging classroom environment.
Partner with parents, co-workers, and administration to support consistent program delivery and communication.
Work as a team player, supporting additional duties as assigned by the Director or Assistant Director.
Shared Qualifications (Lead & Assistant)
High School Diploma or equivalent required; AA/BA/BS in Education or CDA preferred (required for Lead Teacher).
1 years teaching experience in early childhood preferred.
Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with a professional demeanor and personality.
Practicing Christian / active member of a Christian congregation.
Successful, satisfactory background checks throughout employment.
