POSITION TITLE:
General Laborer

POSITION TYPE:

DESCRIPTION OF DUTIES:
- Assist in retaining wall construction by supporting base prep, block handling, geogrid installation, and drainage setup
- Load, carry, and stage materials (gravel, block, pipe) to keep the crew moving efficiently
- Perform physical tasks such as trenching, compacting, digging, and grading by hand
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe jobsite – sweep, haul debris, and clear work areas
- Follow direction from the Foreman and Lead Installer with a positive, team-first attitude
- Use basic had tools and power tools (shovel, rake, wheelbarrow compactor, saws) properly and safely
- Show up on time, work hard, and contribute to daily production goals
- Follow all safety rules and always wear appropriate PPE
SKILLS AND REQUIREMENTS:
- Strong work ethic and willingness to perform physically demanding tasks in all weather conditions
- Ability to lift and carry up to 80 lbs repeatedly throughout the workday
- Basic understanding of construction tools and equipment (shovels, level, wheelbarrows, compactors, etc.)
- Reliable transportation to and from job sites
- Team-oriented mindset – able to take direction and work closely with crew members
- Comfortable working around equipment and active construction zones
- Punctual, Dependable, and Coachable – Willing to learn and grow
- Highschool diploma or equivalent preferred (not required)
- Prior experience in construction, landscaping, or outdoor labor is a plus
COMPENSATION:
- $16 - $20/ Hour, (based on experience, attitude, and performance)
- Professional development opportunities
- Weekly pay and Overtime after 40 hours
- Annual work gear allowance after 1 year
