We are an AI platform that generates interactive voice and video avatars. The frontend is React and TypeScript, the backend is Supabase with PostgreSQL, and the conversational engine runs on OpenAI with a RAG pipeline. Approaching 1,000 users and growing.

The core platform is in production: user accounts, authentication, a structured questionnaire system, and consent capture.

What needs to be built: integrating voice cloning and video avatar generation APIs, completing the interface where users record their voice and video for avatar creation, building consent validation, and scaling the platform as the user base grows.

This is an execution role. The architecture is decided. We need an engineer who can read an existing codebase, understand it, and build on it.

THE STACK

• Frontend: React, TypeScript
• Backend: Supabase (PostgreSQL, auth, edge functions in TypeScript, storage, row-level security, migrations)
• Hosting: Vercel
• AI: OpenAI API (conversational AI, RAG)
• Integrations: Video avatar generation API, voice cloning API

WHAT YOU WILL OWN

The entire production codebase, frontend and backend. API integrations across AI, video, and voice services. Auth, consent, and user permission systems. Security and privacy infrastructure for sensitive voice and video recordings.

WHAT WE NEED

5 years of engineering experience.

TypeScript. The entire codebase is TypeScript, frontend and backend.

React. You will read, troubleshoot, and extend existing components.

Supabase or deep PostgreSQL, including auth, row-level security, and edge functions.

OpenAI API integration you have built and shipped in production.

RAG pipeline and vector database experience.

REST API orchestration across multiple third-party services.

ALSO VALUABLE

Auth and consent system design.

Video or voice API integration experience.

Experience scaling a SaaS product.

Startup experience where you owned the entire build, not one feature.

WHAT THIS IS NOT

Not an architecture role.

Not ML research or model training.

Not a short-term contract.

MINDSET

Builder mentality. Comfortable owning problems, not tasks.

Product-first thinking. You consider what could go wrong before writing code.

Honest about what you do not know.

STRUCTURE

Company: Living Forever AI

Compensation: $4,000/month paid as a draw against a salary accrual at $150K/year until revenue milestones are hit.

Equity: 5% with potential to go higher with vesting
