Within Dock Woods, we are proud to offer two rental-assistance apartment complexes that serve residents whose income level meets HUD housing subsidy requirements: Dock Village for families or individuals of any age, and Dock Manor for seniors. This position will support our Dock Village complex.

As a member of the Dock Village Team, the Family SupportCoordinator has primary responsibility to utilize a thorough knowledge of community development activities and Living Branches policies to organize holistic resident services efforts to meet the needs of the residents of Dock Village.

Family Support Coordinator position highlights:

· Collaborate with Manager and others to stay informed about residents' needs or problems

· Develop relationships with residents and solicit their ideas to assist in the development and refinement of the resident services efforts

· Confer with and advocate for residents on problems or questions regarding community policies and connecting them to available resources

· Utilize outside resources such as chaplain, volunteers and appropriate agencies including local churches to assist residents when necessary

· Collaborate with Manager and Administrative Assistant to develop and coordinate Residents' meetings.

· Prepare and maintain appropriate and adequate documentation on services provided to residents.

· Develop, coordinate and evaluate programs

· Facilitate monthly activities calendar in collaboration with Administrative Assistant

· Interface with community organizations and resources on an ongoing basis

· Associates Degree in Social Services or equivalent experience (preferred)

· Resident Services Coordinator Certification (preferred)

· HUD Housing experience preferred

· Proficient interpersonal relations and communicative skills

· Proficient in basic computer programs including Word, Excel, PowerPoint,
