LPN Overview:
- Utilize the nursing process, procedures and techniques to perform various duties such as evaluating resident needs, developing individual care plans, administering nursing care, and evaluating nursing care
- Ensures that temperature, pulse, blood pressure and other vital sign checks including pacemakers checks are completed and recorded
- Responds and reacts to emergency calls from residents.
- Notifies physicians, supervisor, family or other appropriate personnel when unusual resident condition exists.
- Valid LPN/RN License
- 2-4 years of related experience (Preferred)
- Ability to handle multiple responsibilities simultaneously, has ability to prioritize work and address emergencies as they may occur
- Knowledge of HIPPA rules and regulations and of regulations and guidelines governing personal care and/or long-term care
