Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for a Cook at the Living Branches campus located in Lansdale, PA. The Cook will be responsible for preparing meals according to established recipes and dietary standards, as well as ensuring food safety and quality. Additional responsibilities include assisting in menu planning, maintaining a clean and organized kitchen, and collaborating with kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations. Qualifications
- Proficiency in food preparation, cooking, and portion control
- Knowledge of food safety, sanitation, and proper storage techniques
- Ability to organize tasks and maintain a clean and efficient kitchen environment
- Strong communication skills to collaborate with kitchen staff and other team members
- Capability to work in a fast-paced, on-site environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Prior experience in the food service industry or dietary services is highly desirable
- High school diploma or equivalent; culinary training or certification is a plus
