ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
LIVIC Civil is looking to fill a full-time position for Traffic Engineer / Designer. As we continue to grow, we're always in search of fresh new talent, so feel free to reach out even if you don't quite match the position requirements. Generally, if you're willing to learn, we're willing to teach you. Essential job functions include:
- Support traffic manager and designers with traffic engineering design and traffic studies. Traffic engineering design includes traffic signals, signaling and striping, street/highway lighting, maintenance of traffic plans, specifications and estimates.
- Document field conditions and potential project challenges.
- Coordinate with peers and project managers regarding project progress.
PRIMARY QUALIFICATIONS
- Degree in Civil Engineering/Civil Engineering Technology or related field OR 5 years of experience in a similar role
- Experience with AutoCAD, MS Word and MS Excel
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- 3 – 5 years of relevant engineering experience
- Experience with AutoCAD, MicroStation, Synchro, HCS and ArcGIS
EDUCATION
- Bachelor's (Preferred)
- Associate's
