This position is responsible for preparing civil engineering designs and plans for site development projects, including grading, utilities, roadway layouts, and stormwater management systems. Day-to-day tasks include performing technical calculations, supporting permitting processes, coordinating with surveyors and other design professionals, and assisting with municipal engineering assignments. The Civil Project Engineer will review drawings and reports for quality control, ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations, and communicate project updates to internal teams and clients. The role also involves attending project meetings, tracking project milestones, and contributing to a collaborative, solutions-focused team environment.

Qualifications
- Strong foundation in Civil Engineering and Civil Engineering Design for land development and infrastructure projects.
- Practical experience with Site Development, including grading, utilities, access design, and layout coordination.
- Proficiency in Stormwater Management design, modeling, and compliance with applicable regulations.
- Commitment to Quality Control, including reviewing plans, calculations, and reports for accuracy and consistency.
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a closely related field; EIT certification preferred, PE licensure or track to PE is a plus.
- Experience with relevant design software (e.g., AutoCAD/Civil 3D or similar), and familiarity with permitting and regulatory processes.
