Job Summary
Performs imaging procedures and treatments in accordance with radiology standards to support diagnosis and therapy. Executes assigned duties efficiently and maintains safety and quality standards.
Responsibilities
- Demonstrates thorough understanding of radiologic principles, applying appropriate techniques and positioning for optimal results.
- Develops and implements procedure and treatment plans following hospital protocols.
- Completes documentation to ensure compliance with policies.
- Maintains equipment, treatment rooms, and work areas in a clean and safe condition.
- Participates in performance improvement activities to uphold patient care standards.
- Achieves assigned goals.
Qualifications
- Minimum 6 months experience in the specialty area to meet CT competencies.
- Registered with ARRT in Radiography required; ARRT in CT preferred.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required within 30 days.
- Basic computer literacy skills necessary.
- State licensure as required; BLS certification within 14 days; ARRT(R) certification required; ARRT(CT) preferred.
