What are the responsibilities and job description for the RN ICU Float Pool Multiple Shifts position at LiveWell Homecare Agency?
Role Overview: Provides direct patient care in an ICU setting, utilizing the nursing process within a technically complex environment. Collaborates with a multidisciplinary team to achieve optimal patient outcomes, prioritizes evidence-based practice, and models proficiency through precepting new staff. Demonstrates flexibility in shifts, including nights and weekends, and adheres to clinical safety and quality standards.
Responsibilities:
- Deliver top-of-scope nursing care based on clinical guidelines and models such as AACN’s Synergy Model.
- Support and guide specialty education and competency validation during clinical orientation.
- Contribute to a safe, efficient, and patient-centered clinical environment.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program with valid RN licensure.
- Minimum of 6 months ICU or PCU nursing experience or completion of a fellowship program.
- Current ACLS and BLS certifications (through AHA or Red Cross), valid through sixty days post-hire.
