Role Overview: This position involves selecting, assembling, palletizing, and wrapping products for customer orders in a warehouse environment. The employee will operate powered industrial equipment such as pallet jacks, work in temperature-controlled areas including refrigerated and frozen sections, and ensure products are handled safely and efficiently.
Key Responsibilities:
- Locate and lift various grocery and perishable items using order sheets or audio headsets.
- Operate warehouse equipment safely and perform equipment inspections.
- Maintain a clean, safe work environment and report product or equipment issues.
- Wrap and secure products to prevent damages during transport.
- Follow safety protocols and work in multi-temperature environments.
- Perform physical tasks such as lifting up to 75 pounds, walking, crouching, and reaching.
- Work in a fast-paced environment, adhering to production standards.
- Follow verbal and written instructions accurately.
Qualifications & Skills:
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
- Prior experience in order selecting and operating warehouse equipment is advantageous.
- Ability to work safely and efficiently in varying temperature zones.
- Strong physical stamina and the ability to perform repetitive tasks.
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
