We are a growing provider of psychiatric and psycho-social services supporting over 600 long-term care facilities across multiple states.
Immediate openings are available for a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant specializing or interested in geriatric psychiatry, in Bloomington, IL.
This is a Part-Time or Full-Time position with daytime hours, no weekends or on-call, offering flexible schedules and autonomy.
Qualifications include:
- NP or PA degree from an accredited university
- Valid, full license and DEA# in the state
- Strong communication skills and knowledge of mental health care delivery
Responsibilities:
- Provide psychiatric evaluations, diagnoses, and treatment for primarily geriatric patients in various facilities
- Prescribe or adjust psychotropic medications
- See approximately 12-15 patients daily
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams and ensure continuity of care
Preferred qualifications include at least 1 year of geriatric mental health experience and familiarity with Medicare standards.
