What are the responsibilities and job description for the MRI Technologist – Weekender Days position at LiveWell Homecare Agency?
Role: MRI Technologist responsible for performing magnetic resonance imaging procedures to assist in diagnosis, research, or therapy.
Key Duties: Obtain correct patient information, prepare and position patients, utilize proper imaging protocols, evaluate image quality, and ensure data is properly stored and transferred.
Administer medications as prescribed, assist with interventional procedures, and educate colleagues and students.
Apply safety principles to minimize risks and adhere to ALARA guidelines.
Select appropriate pulse sequences and participate in quality improvement activities.
Qualifications & Skills: Certified by ARRT (R or MR), ARMRIT, or NMTCB upon hire. Education includes graduate from a radiologic technology program; a bachelor’s degree is preferred.
