What are the responsibilities and job description for the Licensed Alcohol and Drug Counselor/ADC-T position at LiveWell Homecare Agency?
This full-time position requires knowledge of
- 42 CFR Part 2 and HIPAA
- Reporting maltreatment of vulnerable populations
- Conducting comprehensive substance use assessments and clinical evaluations
- Understanding substance use disorders, co-occurring disorders, and relapse prevention
- Managing casework, developing treatment plans, and facilitating referrals
- Providing group, individual, and family counseling in residential and outpatient settings
- Skills in maintaining clinical records and developing individualized treatment strategies
- Adherence to professional ethics and conduct
- Experience with evaluations, placements, diagnosis, and co-occurring treatment
- Knowledge of aftercare resources and relapse prevention
- Preferred Bachelor’s degree and at least one year of addiction counseling experience
