Position: CCU Charge Nurse
Location: Lewiston, Maine
Department: Coronary Care Unit
Shifts Available: Days and Nights
Pay: Up to $1,451–$1,982 gross weekly, $40.32–$55.06 hourly, with a $3/hour differential
Responsibilities include:
- Monitoring quality of care, documentation, and regulatory compliance
- Implementing care plan changes to ensure patient safety
- Conducting patient and family rounds to improve experience
- Providing direct patient care as needed
- Supporting daily unit operations and communicating safety concerns
- Managing staffing, scheduling, and assignments
- Supervising, coaching, and evaluating staff
- Ensuring supplies, equipment, and inventory are adequate
- Coordinating admissions, transfers, and discharges
- Overseeing patient care during shifts
Qualifications:
- Valid RN license
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications
- Minimum one year of supervisory experience in acute care, CCU setting
- At least one year as a staff nurse in critical care
- Behavioral Violence Prevention (BVP) certification within 6 months of hire
