We are seeking experienced Senior Mental Health Counselors with a Master’s degree in Psychology, Counseling Psychology, Social Work, or a related field.
Key responsibilities include:
- Providing direct client care through treatment planning, individual, family, and group therapy.
- Supporting the development and maintenance of standards of practice and quality services.
- Serving as a resource for clinicians, offering consultation, education, and mentorship.
- Coordinating services with healthcare professionals, including physicians and ARNPs.
- Engaging in client, family, peer, and community education.
- Maintaining current knowledge through ongoing professional development.
Qualifications and skills required:
- Master’s degree in a relevant health-related field.
- Alaska clinical licenses such as Licensed Social Worker, Clinical Social Worker, Psychologist, Marriage and Family Therapist, or Professional Counselor upon hire.
- At least 5 years of clinical experience.
- Advanced clinical skills and the ability to mentor others.
- Strong communication and collaboration abilities.
