Clients you support are striving to reach goals identified in their Individual Support Plans. To achieve these goals, individuals may require your assistance with, but not limited to, the following:
- Personal Care Assistance (bathing, toileting, dressing, mobility/transfers, nutrition)
- Socialization and Engagement with their preferred and developmentally appropriate activities
- Supervision and Monitoring for Safety
- Behavioral Management and Crisis Prevention
- Verbal and Non-Verbal Communication Techniques
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Two years (preferred) experience working with children and/or adults with developmental disabilities (Autism, Down Syndrome, ADHD, Cerebral Palsy, etc.)
- Proof of eligibility to work in the United States
- BLS/CPR/First Aid Certification
- TB test or Chest X-ray done within 2 years
- Physical Clearance
- Must be able to meet training and agency compliance requirements
- Ability to comply with local and/or federal regulations regarding COVID-19 vaccination
