What are the responsibilities and job description for the Hospital Attendant Manager position at Liverpool Village Animal Hospital?
Liverpool Village Animal Hospital is seeking a Hospital Attendant Manager to join our AAHA accredited, small animal/exotic hospital with 15 veterinarians and over 50 support staff. The Hospital Attendant Manager is primarily responsible for leading and supervising our hospital attendant team to ensure exceptional patient care is provided in a clean, safe environment at both our locations.
The primary responsibilities include, but are not limited to: supervising, training, coaching, evaluating and disciplining hospital attendant support staff, maintaining a professional and positive workplace in a fast-paced environment, coordinating housekeeping, repair and maintenance of both facilities and non-medical equipment while ensuring compliance with AAHA & OSHA guidelines.
The ideal candidate has:
Minimum two years of management experience in a veterinary or animal shelter setting
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to lead with confidence and professionalism
Passion for motivating, engaging and developing staff while promoting a supportive team environment
Flexibility to work morning, mid-day and evening shifts
Ability to travel between two locations
Job Type: Regular Full-time, Non-exempt
Compensation: Based on previous experience and qualifications, starting at $26 per hour
