The Speech Pathologist evaluates and treats patients with hearing, speech, language, and swallowing issues based on medical diagnoses and physician orders, following established standards of practice.
This role involves applying growth and development principles to care for pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients. Collaboration with customers, patients, physicians, and staff is essential, emphasizing teamwork aligned with organizational values to promote hope, health, and healing.
Requirements include a Masters Degree in Speech Pathology, a CCC from ASHA, and a state license or ongoing CFY. BLS certification from the American Heart Association is also required. Preferred experience is at least six months related to speech pathology.
