RN Team Coordinator (7p-7a) Med/Surg PCU - Johnson City, TN

The RN – Team Coordinator is responsible for patient care and team leadership under supervision, ensuring compassionate, patient-centered services during each shift.

• Practice autonomously within professional standards, regulatory rules, and organizational policies.
• Develop collaborative practice, promote safe, evidence-based nursing care, and participate in quality improvement initiatives.
• Serve as a role model, mentor, and resource for staff, fostering professional growth and retention.
• Facilitate communication, coordinate patient assignments, and resolve conflicts within the team.
• Support staff education, participate in shared governance, and contribute to hospital committees or projects.
• Maintain current knowledge of nursing practices, demonstrate critical thinking, and adhere to confidentiality and professional standards.
  
  

Qualifications include a current RN license, healthcare-related degree, minimum 2 years clinical experience, and preferred supervisory or charge nurse experience. Certifications in BLS and ACLS are required. The role involves night shifts, rotating weekends, and no travel.
