to provide comprehensive respiratory care in an acute hospital setting.
Key responsibilities include:
- Assessing, treating, and monitoring patients with cardiopulmonary disorders
- Administering therapies, medications, and oxygen support as prescribed
- Collaborating with healthcare teams to optimize patient outcomes
- Monitoring treatment responses and educating patients and families
- Maintaining accurate documentation and adhering to safety standards
- Providing emergency respiratory interventions when needed
- Current Missouri Respiratory Care Practitioner License
- Credential as CRT or RRT through NBRC
- Current BLS/CPR certification
- Graduate of an accredited Respiratory Therapy Program
