Role:
Hemodialysis Team Leader responsible for managing chronic hemodialysis care.
Responsibilities:
Supervise direct patient care staff, ensure compliance with policies and regulations, coordinate staffing, and provide ongoing training.
Assess patient needs, oversee dialysis treatments, respond to emergencies, and educate patients and families about renal disease, diet, and medication.
Supervise equipment use, perform testing, and assist with special projects and staff interviews.
Qualifications:
RN license with a minimum of 9 months nursing and 3 months dialysis experience; supervisory experience preferred.
Strong communication skills, ability to lead, and knowledge of dialysis principles required.
Skills:
Leadership, clinical assessment, patient education, equipment operation, and adherence to safety and regulatory standards.
Includes physical demands typical of healthcare settings and requires travel between facilities.
