RN – Progressive Care Unit (Adult)
Provide high-acuity, close-monitoring nursing care for adult patients transitioning from intensive care or requiring continuous assessment. Conduct comprehensive patient assessments, manage complex medication regimens, and interpret cardiac/telemetry data to identify and respond to changes in clinical status.
Collaborate with physicians and an interdisciplinary team to deliver evidence-based, patient-centered care. Coordinate care plans, communicate effectively with patients and families, and provide education and support. Pursue ongoing clinical growth through continued learning and skill development.
Key Duties
- Perform timely, comprehensive assessments of adult patients
- Administer and monitor complex medication therapies
- Interpret telemetry and cardiac monitoring data
- Recognize patient deterioration and initiate appropriate interventions
- Coordinate care with physicians and interdisciplinary teams
- Educate patients and families and support informed decision-making
