RN – Progressive Care
provides compassionate, evidence-based nursing care to acutely ill adults.
Key Duties
- Monitor complex patient conditions and assess clinical changes promptly.
- Interpret telemetry and other monitoring data to support timely interventions.
- Administer medications safely and accurately according to established protocols.
- Respond rapidly to changes in patient status and escalate concerns to providers.
- Collaborate with physicians and an interdisciplinary care team to develop and implement plans of care.
- Educate patients and families, and promote understanding of care and treatment.
- Support safe discharge planning and continuity of care.
- Registered Nurse with strong progressive care/acute care competencies.
- Proficient in telemetry interpretation and clinical monitoring.
- Sound medication administration and patient safety practices.
- Effective communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to deliver patient and family education and support discharge readiness.
