Nursing Assistant - Surgical/Med/Surg - Night Shift

Role:

Care Partner supporting patient care under RN supervision, promoting positive patient experiences, and assisting with daily activities and comfort measures.

Responsibilities:

Collaborate with healthcare team to provide patient-centered care, address patient needs, and follow treatment plans. Perform basic care tasks such as hygiene, nutrition, elimination, ambulation, and vital signs. Support advanced procedures (e.g., phlebotomy, Foley catheter removal) as trained. Ensure safety, confidentiality, and infection control. Document care activities accurately in EMR, communicate effectively with team, patients, and families, and support unit operations through clerical tasks and equipment maintenance. Participate in quality improvement initiatives and unit rounds.

Qualifications & Skills:

Rising senior in a related field or high school diploma/GED. Valid BLS certification required; additional CNA or Patient Care Tech certification preferred. Must follow detailed instructions, demonstrate strong interpersonal, communication, and documentation skills, and work well independently and in teams. Ability to thrive in fast-paced, stressful environments with compassion and respect.
