Job Summary – Per Diem Registered Nurse (RN)
The Per Diem Registered Nurse (RN) is responsible for performing in-home assessments for Medicaid and Veteran clients to ensure appropriate care and compliance with program requirements. This role involves conducting comprehensive health evaluations, documenting clinical findings, identifying care needs, and coordinating with case management or agency staff to support the client’s plan of care.
The RN must demonstrate strong clinical judgment, professionalism, and communication skills while maintaining compassion and respect for clients in their homes. The position offers flexible scheduling and requires reliable transportation for travel to client residences.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct in-home nursing assessments for Medicaid and Veteran clients.
Review medical history, current medications, and overall health status.
Complete required assessment forms accurately and in a timely manner.
Communicate findings and recommendations to care coordinators and administrative staff.
Ensure compliance with state, federal, and agency standards.
Provide education to clients and families as appropriate.
