Position Overview & Key Responsibilities
We are seeking a talented, classically trained Cook experienced in high-volume culinary operations to join our team at a Skilled Nursing Facility.
Meal Preparation & Culinary Excellence: Accurately and efficiently prepare, portion, and cook a variety of nutritious meals for breakfast, lunch, and dinner following standardized recipes.
Plating & Presentation: Plate and garnish all cooked items expertly to ensure an attractive menu presentation.
Leadership Support: Act as a liaison for the Dietary Manager during their absence to ensure seamless meal prep and delivery.
Kitchen Sanitation: Maintain high sanitation standards by thoroughly cleaning the kitchen and all culinary equipment before and after food service.
Inventory & Recipe Management: Manage inventory, handle stock rotation, assist with purchasing, and ensure recipe development and compliance.
Special Events: Flexibly handle last-minute culinary requests for special events and facility functions.
