Location: Regional Live the Life office, Wichita, Kansas
Position Summary
Live the Life is a Christian faith-based, nonprofit organization with a mission to strengthen marriages and families (www.livethelife.org). The Regional Director (RD) serves as the senior leader in an assigned geographic region, responsible for strategic leadership, fund development, partnership cultivation, program excellence, staff supervision, and operational excellence. The RD ensures measurable impact (“Wildly Important Goals” or WIGs) aligned with organizational goals, and serves as a visible ambassador within the community.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
· Provide overall leadership for regional staff, programs, fundraising, operations, and financial stewardship.
· Cultivate meaningful, kingdom-centered relationships with donors, volunteers, and partner organizations across 16 community sectors to expand program reach and impact, and build bridges between secular and sacred sectors.
· Oversee the provision and execution of high-quality relationship and marriage education (RME) programs to students and adults
· Develop and execute a regional strategic plan and WIGs in collaboration with senior leadership, community stakeholders, volunteers and staff.
· Track key performance metrics and provide regular reports to senior leadership.
Fund Development and Revenue Generation
- Develop, lead and execute a successful regional fund development plan that will be fully self-sustaining after 5 years.
- Personally engage to cultivate and steward major donors and key funders using the “Moves Management” system for long term sustainability with a growth mindset of “paying it forward” to another community.
- Work collaboratively with the fund development team to meet or exceed regional fundraising goals.
- Seek out and support grant opportunities by identifying prospects, contributing regional data, and assisting with reporting requirements.
- Engage local leaders, partners volunteers, and major donors in fund development activities, including the Annual Partners Weekend and Champions Club events.
Program Oversight
- Lead implementation and expansion of high-quality RME programs with measurable impact and outcomes.
- Cultivate strategic partners across 16 community sectors who will promote and participate in RME programs within their network.
- Provide supervision and leadership to program staff, fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, and professional growth.
- Develop creative strategies to market RME programs through digital and traditional media.
External Relations and Advocacy
- Serve as the primary local spokesperson and ambassador for Live the Life who is visible at key community events, activities, and public forums.
- Develop, strengthen and enhance Live the Life’s brand and visibility within the region.
- Develop strategic partnerships that expand both program reach and funding opportunities.
Reporting and Accountability
- Track and report key regional performance metrics, including program evaluations, number of program graduates, fundraising progress, divorce rate data, etc.
- Prepare regular reports for senior leadership on regional activities, challenges, and opportunities.
- Ensure compliance with Live the Life policies and procedures, and employee handbook.

· Bachelor’s degree with a minimum 7-10 years of leadership experience, preferably in a Christian nonprofit.
· Demonstrated success in fund development, donor engagement, and cultivating meaningful partnerships.
· Self-starter who works independently, and can manage multiple priorities.
· Strategic thinker with a collaborative leadership style.
· Experience working with strategic partners, volunteers, and diverse stakeholders.
· Proactive self-starter with an ability to solve problems.
· Experience managing budgets of $800,000 .
· Ability to take disciplined initiative.
· Alignment with Live the Life’s mission, statement of faith, and core values.
· Willingness to work occasional evenings and weekends for programs/classes/events.
