CNC Machinist & Programmer

LIVE SHARP INDUSTRIES is seeking a skilled CNC Machinist and Programming professional to join our team. Are you tired of just making parts to a print? We specialize in designing and manufacturing cutlery and other EDC tools for ourselves and some of the largest companies in the cutlery industry. Key Responsibilities

• Set up and operate CNC milling machines according to specifications and production schedules
• Interpret technical drawings to determine machining requirements
• Design and build production fixtures for various parts and operations
• Adjust machine settings, tooling, and offsets to meet required tolerances
• Monitor machine operations and adjust as needed to maintain quality and efficiency
• Program CNC machines using Mastercam, SolidCAM or Fusion 360
• Perform routine maintenance and troubleshoot CNC equipment as needed
• Conduct quality inspections of finished parts using precision measuring instruments to verify parts are made according to requirements
• Follow established safety procedures and quality standards

Qualifications

• A specific number of years of experience is less important to us than a proven ability to successfully perform the key responsibilities listed above
• Haas control experience is a strong plus, but not required
• Strong communication skills
• Strong math skills
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing quality parts
• Working knowledge of safety guidelines

Starting pay is $25 - $30 an hour, or more if skills demand
