Salary: $18 - $25 per hour
An established Pharmacy in Plano Tx is currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Certified Pharmacy Technician to join our team. As a vital member of our pharmacy team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our pharmacy, providing exceptional customer service, and contributing to the overall success of our business.
Responsibilities:
- Assist pharmacists in accurately dispensing prescription medications
- Process and fill prescriptions efficiently and accurately
- Perform pharmaceutical calculations as necessary
- Maintain inventory levels and ensure proper storage of medications
- Utilize Pioneer Rx software for prescription processing, adjudications, and billing
- Handle adjudication issues and troubleshoot billing discrepancies
- Collaborate effectively with pharmacists and other team members to provide excellent patient
- Compounding both sterile and non-sterile preparations
- Adhere to all state and federal regulations governing pharmacy practices
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment
Requirements:
- Certified Pharmacy Technician registered with the Texas Board of Pharmacy
- Minimum of 2 years of recent experience in a retail pharmacy setting
- Proficiency in Pioneer Rx software with at least 2 years of experience
- Strong understanding of adjudication processes and billing procedures
- Excellent experience handling compounding both sterile and nonsterile
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work well within a team
- Legal authorization to work in the United States
- Flexibility to work Monday to Friday from 8:30 AM to 6:00 PM
