We are searching for a Dental Assistant to join our rapidly growing pediatric dental office located in Slidell, LA ! Experience, including EDDA certification, is not necessary but preferred-- we are most interested in finding individuals that are growth minded, fun, and a great fit with our amazing team. We are huge on positive office culture and making work our happy place :)
This is a great opportunity to be a part of a new, modern and FUN practice with state-of-the-art technology and an amazing work environment. The ideal candidate will be able to effectively communicate with parents, provide encouragement to our pediatric patients, and be a great team player!
This position is 3-4 days a week. Office hours are typically Mondays and Wednesdays from 8:15-5:00pm and Thursdays from 7:45-3:00pm. Occasional Tuesdays!

Dental Assistant Responsibilities:
· Excellent customer service
· Assist the dentist with dental procedures and behavior management
· Dental cleanings/prophys, impressions, and radiographs
· Sterilization lab duties
· Assist with treatment under sedation or general anesthesia
· Assist with treatment of patients with special health care needs
· Maintain patient records and treatment plans
· Provide dental education to patients and their family members
Certifications Necessary:
· Expanded Duty Dental Assistant (preferred but not necessary)
· Basic Life Support (BLS)
· Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) (Preferred, not required)
