Overview
The school nurse plays a critical role in supporting the health, wellness, and academic success of students on campus. They address the healthcare needs that arise, ensuring that students can thrive by creating a safe and supportive environment. They are responsible for providing medical assistance to school-age students, and they will complete multiple tasks each day including but not limited to assessing minor injuries, administering controlled substances, maintaining shot records, and requesting emergency services
Qualifications:- Genuine faith in Christ that is clearly expressed in daily life
- Passion for working with school aged students and their families
- Bachelor’s degree in Nursing preferred
- Registered and Licensed by the State of Texas required
