Responsibilities:
- Create a safe and nurturing environment for children to learn and grow
- Provide individualized attention and support to students with special needs or learning challenges
- Utilize effective behavior management techniques to promote positive behavior and social-emotional development
- Collaborate with teachers and staff to ensure a cohesive and comprehensive learning experience
- Maintain accurate records of student attendance, assessments, and other relevant information
- Participate in professional development opportunities to enhance teaching skills and stay updated on best practices in early childhood education
Requirements:
-ECE courses are required to maintain position however may to taken concurrently while holding the position.
- Previous experience working with children in a daycare or educational setting
- Strong knowledge of child development principles and best practices in early childhood education
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to effectively interact with students, parents, and colleagues
- Ability to manage classroom dynamics and create a positive learning environment
- Maintain daily cleaning duties both outdoors and indoors (sanitizing, vacuuming, removing trash etc.)
