THE JOB
PNC Bank Arts Center in Holmdel NJ is seeking rock stars to join our team as Ushers/Greeters/Ticket Takers. As a member of the usher department, you help to ensure safety, help to maintain the cleanliness of the venue and engage with guests to assist with their needs before, during and after the show.
WHAT THIS ROLE WILL DO
- Welcome guests and scan tickets upon entry. Assist guests with questions, locate their seats, and verify tickets for entry to various areas during events.
- Help maintain a safe, clean, and presentable venue for guests.
- Address and resolve guest complaints or issues promptly.
- Verify the authenticity of tickets or passes.
- Assist guests with accessibility needs, including seat accommodations.
- Support venue recycling efforts before, during, and after events.
- Guide guests to exits and provide instructions or assistance during emergencies.
- Assist in verifying crew member credentials for access to restricted areas as needed.
- Participate in the venue’s sustainability program, including resource conservation, waste prevention, recycling, and educating guests about these initiatives.
- Collaborate with crew members after events to close the venue, collect recyclables, and safely store event equipment such as lawn chairs and barricades.
- Provide directions to guests for locations inside or outside the venue.
- Ensure guests are enjoying the show safely.
- Assist with line management, coat check, wrist banding, or other tasks as requested by managers or supervisors.
WHAT THIS PERSON WILL BRING

- Position requires some walking, climbing stairs and standing.

The expected compensation for this position during the 2026 season is:
