About Us
Live In Vitality Wellness Center is a growing integrative medicine practice in Brandon, FL (33511) focused on longevity, hormone optimization, medical weight loss, IV therapy, functional medicine, and primary care. We are a hybrid practice offering both cash-pay wellness services and insurance-based primary care.
About This Role
This is not a typical MA position. You will be the sole team member working directly with one provider who sees 6-15 patients daily. You run the front desk AND the back office. You check patients in, answer phones, manage messages, verify insurance, collect payments, AND room patients, draw blood, give injections, and assist clinically. There is no one to hand things off to. You are it.

What You Will Do Every Day
Clinical:
Draw blood (phlebotomy is required, not optional)
Administer IM and SubQ injections (B12, testosterone, GLP, etc.)
Take vitals including manual blood pressure
Perform EKGs
Room patients, collect specimens, label and process labs
Assist provider with procedures and patient care
Administrative:
Answer phones and manage patient text messages
Check patients in and out, verify insurance, collect payments
Prep charts the day before appointments
Verify intake forms, consents, ID, insurance card, and payment card are on file before the patient arrives
Coordinate referrals, prior authorizations, and medication refills
Complete FMLA, work clearance, disability, and other medical forms
Schedule appointments and manage daily patient flow
Post on social media 2-3 times per week (training provided)
Requirements
CMA, RMA, or CCMA certification (or equivalent clinical training with verifiable experience)
Current BLS certification
Phlebotomy experience required — you must be comfortable drawing blood independently
Experience with IM and SubQ injections
Comfortable working independently as the only team member in the office
Professional appearance and demeanor appropriate for a healthcare setting
Reliable transportation to Brandon, FL 33511
Must be available Monday through Friday, 8:45 AM to 5:00 PM
Strongly Preferred
Experience in wellness, hormone therapy, weight loss, or functional medicine
Experience with cash-pay or concierge practice models
Experience with insurance verification and claims
EKG experience
Social media or basic marketing skills (Canva, Instagram)
Experience creating checklists, SOPs, or training materials
