What are the responsibilities and job description for the Lead Residential Counselor position at Live for Life Behavioral Health?
Wage: Hourly
Schedule: Full Time, min 40 hours per workweek, may require on-call, after hours, weekends, and overtime.
Purpose
Under the direction of the program manager, lead residential counselors serve as members of the multidisciplinary treatment team and carry out the behavior modification program for each client. Lead residential counselors provide direct care supervision of the clients and actively participate in providing a teamwork approach when working with the clients.
The lead residential counselor serves as a direct mentor and advocates for our clients, assists clients in achieving treatment plan goals, and helps them carry out the behavior modification program.
