Key Responsibilities:
- Perform diagnostic imaging procedures per physician orders.
- Prepare patients for imaging by verifying health information and explaining procedures.
- Position patients for optimal imaging results and adjust equipment as needed.
- Follow safety protocols to minimize radiation exposure.
- Maintain and operate imaging equipment, ensuring proper functionality and cleanliness.
- Update patient records promptly with imaging details and results.
- Deliver excellent customer service by answering questions and maintaining confidentiality.
- Collaborate with providers on imaging results.
- Cross-train in medical receptionist and/or medical assistant duties to support the team during high patient volume times.
- Foster a supportive and cooperative work environment.

Requirements:- Prepare patients for radiological procedures and take x-rays following established procedures for patient care and safety.
- Protect patients, yourself, and staff from radiation exposure by practicing sound procedures that meet or exceed recommended industry standards.
- Obtain quality diagnostic radiographs as requested by healthcare practitioners. Maintain a repeat rate of two percent or less.
- Ensure that all equipment is in good working condition and in compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
- Must be willing to help assist at the front reception area when needed.
- While we prefer someone with at least one year of experience, we are willing to train the right candidate with less experience if they are a licensed Radiology Technician in the respective state of employment.
