K38 Baja Grill has been serving fresh, vibrant, Baja-style Mexican food and hand-crafted margaritas for over 30 years. Were known for our lively atmosphere, scratch-made flavors, and genuine hospitality. As we open our newest location at Seaboard Station in Raleigh, were looking for enthusiastic and friendly individuals to join our front-of-house team.
Position Summary:
As a Host/Hostess, you are the first and last impression for our guests. Youll greet each guest with a warm welcome, manage reservations and waitlists, and help ensure smooth seating flow throughout the restaurant. If youre energetic, guest-focused, and thrive in a fast-paced environment, this is a great opportunity to grow with our team.
Responsibilities:

Greet and seat guests with a friendly, upbeat attitude

Manage waitlists and reservations through our host system

Answer phones and assist guests with inquiries

Maintain cleanliness and organization of the host stand and entrance area

Communicate effectively with servers and managers to ensure smooth service flow

Provide an excellent guest experience from arrival to departure
Qualifications:

Previous host/hostess or customer service experience is a plus, but not required

Strong communication and organizational skills

Ability to remain positive and professional in a busy environment

A team-player attitude and willingness to learn
