The Steward Supervisor is responsible for the supervision of staff and processes to maintain overall cleanliness and organization of culinary areas and kitchen equipment.
Responsibilities
Where You'll Make an Impact
- Supervision of staff to include interviewing, training, performance management, disciplinary counseling and conducting performance evaluations.
- Responsible for scheduling to assure staffing levels consistent with budget
- Responsible for controlling, issuing and inventory of all equipment used in the restaurant, banquet room, room service, and bars.
- Responsible for overseeing the cleaning and storage of all wares used in food and beverage.
- Schedule cleaning of kitchen and banquet storage and organizing inventory.
- Ensure the safety and security of all employees and guest.
- Other duties as assigned.

A Few Must Haves
- A high school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Two (2) years’ experience in a hotel or high volume kitchen area.
Physical Requirements
- Must be able to walk extended distances during shifts.
- The team member is frequently required to stand; reach with hands and arms; stoop, kneel, and bend.
- The team member must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.
