The Banquet Server is responsible for preparing and delivering food and beverage items in a timely manner, providing exceptional customer service with a smile, and ensuring that all of guests have a memorable Live 5 experience.
Compensation: $25.00/hr tips!
Responsibilities
Where You'll Make an Impact:
- Maintain a professional appearance and mannerism.
- Assist with set-up of tables, linens, chairs, etc. for full service of banquet events.
- Provide excellent food and beverage service for banquet events.
- Maintain knowledge of policies and procedures.
- Maintain back of the house, front of the house and side work duties for overall productivity of banquet events.
- Maintain positive and professional attitude.
Skills to Help You Succeed:
- Ability to use fountain soft drink, tea, and coffee machines.
- Ability to read and write basic instructions.
- Knowledge of Alcohol Beverage Control laws, health regulations, and PPE (Personal Protective Equipment).
- Public relations skills needed.
- Ability to read and follow instructions from Banquet.
- Flexible work schedule.
Qualifications
Must-Haves:
- Education: A high school diploma or GED equivalent is preferred.
- Experience: One - three years of experience in casual, buffet or fine dining restaurants is preferred.
- License: Must be able to comply with all state gaming regulations, which may include obtaining a license, and an Alcohol Beverage Card is required.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to stand and walk continually throughout a scheduled shift.
- Ability to bend, stoop and reach while carrying dishes, glasses and serving tray.
- Ability to push bus cart and carry trash/linen bags, weighing up to 35 lbs.
- Use of stairs and elevators
