The Night Laundry Associate plays an important role in overnight hotel operations by ensuring linens and towels are cleaned, organized, and ready for the next day. This role works primarily independently overnight and helps ensure the hotel is “guest ready” each morning.

Position Summary:
The Night Laundry Associate is responsible for overnight laundry operations including washing, drying, folding, staging, and organizing linens and towels. This position primarily works independently and also supports “guest ready” standards through light cleaning of laundry and assigned back-of-house or public areas, supply restocking, and other operational tasks as directed.
Responsibilities:
Laundry & Linen Operations (Overnight)
o Complete overnight laundry responsibilities including washing, drying, folding, and organizing linens and towels.
o Stage linens appropriately for housekeeping and daily operational needs.
o Maintain accurate counts and organized storage of linens, towels, and related supplies.
o Maintain a clean, organized, and safe laundry area throughout the shift.
Cleaning, Supplies & Operational Support
o Perform cleaning tasks as needed to maintain “guest ready” standards (e.g., sanitizing the laundry area, cleaning back-of-house or assigned public areas).
o Ensure laundry and cleaning supplies are stocked; communicate low inventory to leadership.
o Support room preparation tasks when directed and trained (e.g., prepping rooms housekeeping could not clear during day shift).
Safety, Security & Emergency Procedures
o Know and follow property emergency procedures and support the security needs of the property and guests.
o Use chemicals, equipment, and tools safely and according to training and property procedures.
o Report safety hazards, incidents, or unusual activity promptly per policy.
Other Duties as Assigned
o Perform additional responsibilities as assigned, consistent with hotel operations and business needs.
Job-Specific Duties:
· Manage daily cash activity and monitor property bank balances.
· Review hotel revenue reports for accuracy and proper posting.
· Track capital expenditures and maintain supporting schedules.
· Assist in audits, tax preparation, and compliance reporting.
· Participate in the creation of an Accounting playbook to support future property openings.
· Perform other duties as assigned or needed to support Four Pillars’ financial and strategic objectives.
Required Qualifications
· Ability to work independently and reliably during overnight hours.
· Ability to follow safety procedures, checklists, and property protocols consistently.
· Strong attention to detail and pride in cleanliness and organization.
· Basic computer skills and willingness to learn hotel systems and processes as needed.
· Flexible schedule availability is required, including evenings and weekends.
Preferred Qualifications
· Prior experience in hotels, hospitality, laundry operations, housekeeping, custodial work, or facilities support.
· Experience working with commercial laundry equipment and cleaning chemicals.
Physical Requirements
· Repetitive stair climbing and occasional ladder use.
· Ability to kneel, squat, stand, sit, bend, and twist for extended periods.
· Ability to lift, push, or pull up to 20 lbs regularly and up to 50 lbs occasionally.
