What are the responsibilities and job description for the Bakery Packer position at Liv Breads Artisan Bakery and Coffee Bar?
This is an entry level position that focuses on the precise and expert packing of our products, including retail, wholesale, and shipped. The ideal candidate enjoys working independently, and with pride. This is not a customer-facing role, but you will interact extensively with other staff to receive direction and communicate your status.
We are hiring packers who have, at a minimum, three shifts a week they are available to work (part-time) to five shifts a week (full-time). Shifts are 8 hours and can start as early as 6:30 am, with occasional flexibility needed with earlier hours during holiday periods.

Job responsibilities:
- Follow packaging guidelines to ensure all products are packaged consistently
- Prepare and restock packaging materials
- Weigh or count items as necessary
- Clean and organize the packing room
- Count completed packaging and communicate to managers
- Follow strict food safety standards
- Maintain a strong level of cleanliness with a focus on 'clean as you go'
- Follow and comply with all applicable health and sanitation requirements
- Work as part of a strong team to get the work done with communication, focus, and joy!

- Ability to work in a team environment, understanding that hospitality and food service requires flexibility, cooperation, and professionalism
- High energy and engaging personality; professional demeanor
- Ability to work on your feet for an extended period of time
- Available to work flexible hours that are required by the food service industry
